Grants from Local Businesses?
Sometimes local businesses will sponsor young folks on special activities if it sounds like good publicity. In the US, they usually sponsor through a local foundation, but they sometimes give money directly. Are there any community groups in your area who would sponsor you and then you would speak to their group on your return? I have seen that as well. Good luck.
